Sunaina’s miraculous escape
Sunaina made her debut as heroine in the film Kadhalil Vizhundhen. After this she acted in Maasilamani. Now she is acting in a film titled Yathumagi which has been produced BY Chozha Productions.It was planned to shoot a song sequence in Bangkok. The hero Sachin, the heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar, cinematographer Muhammad Naseer, producer Chozha Ponnurangam along with his two daughters flew to Bangkok.
The song sequence with the line Yaro Yaro was to be shot in an island called No Man Island which is situated 30 kms away from Bangkok. The crew went to this island in three boats. The shooting also was taking place in the island.
The guides who had accompanied the crew had warned them not to shoot after 4 pm. But the crew was not bothered about the warning continued the shooting till 6 PM. After completing the shooting crew left in two boats. Hero Sachin, heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar and producer along with his two daughters boarded another boat after much delay.All of a sudden there was heavy rain.
The person who steered the boat did not know the way because of the heavy rain and poor visibility. Finally he was able to spot some lights on the shore, so he tried to reach the shores as fast as he can. But the over speed capsized the boat.
All the members in the boat were flung into the ocean. But since they were wearing life jackets, they were able to cling to capsized boats. Fortunately they were saved by a person who was passing that side in another boat. Sunaina says that she was saved because of the God’s grace.
Genelia opposite Dhanush
Genelia will be playing Dhanush's ladylove in the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster titled 'Ready'.
The original directed by Sreenu Vaitla featured Ram and Genelia in the lead roles. To be produced by Mohan Apparao and Chandra Ramesh, the Tamil version will go on floors soon.
According to the producers, "there was a huge demand for the remake rights of the movie. Thank Almighty, we won the bid. The movie is a mix of action, romance and sentiments."
Mithran Jawahar, who directed Dhanush for 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and the to-be released 'Kutty', is wielding the megaphone for this one too. The movie is currently being remade in Kannada starring Puneeth Rajakumar and Priyamani in lead roles.
Goa special
The shooting of Goa is going on in Chennai. The final shooting is to take place in Goa. The shooting of the film will be over here.
Director Venkat Prabhu has said that the audio launch of this film will take place in the month of December. Songs in this film is less in number. But there will be nine songs in the audio CD. Jai, Vybhav, Premji, Aravind Akash, Pia and Maloney Mari are also in the cast.
But Sneha’s role is said to be special and exemplary. Her style will be appreciated by her fans. Venkat Prabhu says ,”Sneha has donned the role of a rich girl who stays in Goa. Her style will be new to her fans.’

Vision Pro Event Management and Cosmic Town Company have come up with an award for honouring TV actors and talent in an authentic way. TV actor Vishwa who is part of Cosmic Town Co. says “Awards are selected after a tough screening process of best clips of shows sent by producers from mega serials of 2008. Then 7 jury members select the best talent in different categories from best actor to director, comedian etc etc. Then three nominees are selected in each category and will be called on stage. Its only then that the top secret name of the winner will be announced. This will avoid any lobbying.”All top talents nominated have agreed to come for the event even if they are only nominated and not and do not win. Say the organizers “This shows the solidarity amongst the TV fraternity. Top film persons will be called to give away the awards while dance shows will also be presented in between.” The ceremony will be telecast on KTV from 22 November onwards
