‘I Don’T Watch Tamil Movies’ – MTV

An ace literary person would gradually have lots of interests over the film related arenas. ASIN’S DOPPELGANGER

She’s called Asin’s doppelganger and rightly so. Probably the pressure is building up on the up-and-coming Poorna, who was hailed as next Asin by Vijay. Much as she loves Asin, Poorna denies that she tries to emulate her. “I am a big time fan of Asin. But when it comes to my style, I have a style of my own and do not try to duplicate her. I know you can only sustain in this industry if you are unique,” she was quoted as saying. Ahem!

Anushka to act in a film produced by makeup man

Anushka while speaking to the media said,” I am pairing with Surya in the film titled Singam. This film is a commercial entertainer. There are lots of talented people in Tamil film industry.
Each one has got the deserving place. Only if we have healthy competition, we can keep ourselves geared up. The Telugu film Vedham is getting ready for release. Lots of heroes and heroines have acted in this film. I have agreed to act in a Telugu film produced by ex makeup man Chandran.
So I am happy I was able to fulfill the promise which I have made it earlier to him. I am not interested in becoming number one in Tamil cinema. Today you can be a star actress. But that is not permanent. I am selecting films which have good storyline.I do not plan before hand that I should act like this or that. Each role helps you to groom your career. Currently I will be concentrating in Tamil and Telugu films only.”
