Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Akashagopuram, which is ready to hit the big screens on August 22nd, is touted to be the most expensive film in Mollywood till date. The film is shot entirely in the UK with some foreign technicians in the crew including Emmy award winner John Altman. Toeing in line with Kollywood and
Tollywood, the Malayalam film industry is slowly moving towards high budget films with Akashagopuram paving way for it. Akashagopuram is said to change the face of the Malayalam film industry. Another important attribute of this film is that it will be released worldwide on August 22nd. Akashagopuram is directed by K.P. Kumaran.
