Director Sasi Kumar has fulfilled Prabhu Deva’s dream. According to industry sources, Prabhu Deva wanted use one of Ilayaraja’s yesteryear chartbusters in his films and was on the verge of going ahead with it. But when news reached him that Sasi had successfuly done that in his film, Subramaniapuram, Prabhu Deva could not control his
curiosity and went to a theatre to see it himself. He was all the more surprised when the audience gave the song - Siru Ponmanai Asaiyum - a standing ovation. Thoroughly happy with the outcome, he congratulated Sasi for the excellent use of the song.
