Ram Gopal Varma is one director who likes to experiment a lot. He started off his directorial journey as a master storyteller about gangsters and their shady lives. But the storyteller in him overwhelms every other aspect and so he has started to make many kinds of films. His latest however is 'Phoonk' – a Hindi language film that has the eerie presence of ghosts, a la the English film Poltergeist.
'Phoonk' has been remade in Telugu as 'Raksha' under the direction of Vamsi. The story has been altered a bit to make it more emotional. The latest news however is that 'Raksha' will be dubbed in Tamil and released soon.
It can be recalled that Ram Gopal Varma's first film 'Shiva' starring Nagarjuna and Amala was dubbed and released in Tamil as 'Udhayam'. The movie went on to become a great success.
Let's see if the dubbed version of 'Raksha' can recreate the same success.
