This seems to be the season of India’s numero uno director Mani Ratnam’s fledglings to set foot in the tinsel town and prove their talent. Earlier in the week, Kannan, who apprenticed with Mani earned appreciation for his work in Jeyamkondaan and now another associate Sudha is slated to wield the megaphone for Drogi to be produced
by Mano Akkineni, the granddaughter of the late veteran L V Prasad.
This film is said to be a double hero subject where Jeeva and Srikanth are roped in to essay the lead roles. One of their arm candies will be Poorna of Muniyandi Moondram Aandu Vilangiyal fame. After her first project, this young lady has signed on the dotted line for Kodaikanal and Adigaram. There is also a buzz in the industry that the title Drogi may change.
