Maheshwari entered the Tamil film with Bharathirajaa's Karuthamma and went on to star in quite a number of films. She also happens to be a cousin of well-known actress Sridevi. Maheshwari entered into the holy matrimony on September 18th with software engineer Jayakrishna. The wedding, which took place in Tirupati, was attended by close family and friends in the film industry. Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor made their gracious presence. Others from the tinsel town that attended the wedding were Meena, Sangeetha, Vijayakumar and Manjula Vijayakumar.
