Actress Meera Jasmine has been shown the exit door from director Shankar's production venture 'Ananthapurathu Veedu'.
The movie is being produced by 'S' Films and is directed by Naga, who had directed several thrillers for the small screen. 'Ananthapurathu Veedu' features Nanda in the lead role. Meera Jasmine was initially assigned to play the female lead in the film.
However when shooting commenced, Meera Jasmine reportedly messed up with her call sheets and could not make it for filming. Sources close to the production unit said Naga had conveyed the hiccup to Shankar, who is currently directing Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in Peru for 'Endhiran'.
After discussion with him, Meera Jasmine has reportedly been axed from the movie and a search is on for a suitable heroine.
