Srikanth is the hero. Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by RK Vidyadaran, who has earlier directed Sarath Kumar in 'Vaideeswaran' and Upendra in Kannada film 'News.' He had written the dialogues for the Jayam Ravi film 'Something Something Unakkum Enakkum.'
Srikanth is paired with Navia Nair in 'Rasikkum Seemane.' 'Till now, Navia has been doing homely type of roles. For the first time, she will don a glamorous role.
For those lofty individuals who fly high in society, Srikanth is a thorn in their flesh. Wanting to do a film that would bring a turning point in his film career after marriage, Srikanth turned down many stories till he heard the story of 'Rasikkum Seemane.' The director is confident that viewers would be as impressed with the story as Srikanth was.
The film is a romance thriller. For the first time, Srikanth does a negative role, that of a blackmailer named Nandu, who uses the weaknesses of others to his advantage to make money. He gets to know the innermost secrets of the society bigwigs, who naturally don't view him very kindly. He could expose their dalliances any time!
Nandu falls for the charms of Gayatri and seeks to win her love also in his blackmail fashion. Can Nandu get her love through blackmail? See the film's climax for that, says Vidyadaran, who also does the role of a character called Guru.
