Veteran music director MS Viswanathan and popular Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamoorthy will be awarded the most coveted Swaralaya Kairali Yesudas award. The nominees have been short listed based on their contributions to music. State Minister for Culture and Education and jury chairman, M.A. Baby who announced the awards yesterday told the reporters that Ms. Krishnamoorthy and Mr. Viswanathan were unanimously selected by the jury on the basis of the maximum nominations from music lovers.
The award will be presented later in a function organised by Swaralaya at Trivandrum.
