The Mohanlal – Priyamani starrer Baghavan will be shot in 12 hours flat time. The movie was launched on November 6, 2008 and the shooting will start and end on November 19. It also stars Nasser and Prakash Raj.
Arumugham that has Bharat in the lead is being shot in Hyderabad, in a set that was constructed to replicate Mumbai city. The director has plans to go to Egypt for a song. Arumugham also has Ramya Krishnan.
A movie based on the Cauvery issue, Thambiyudayaan, has been recently kicked off. The movie is directed and produced by Raja Mahesh, who was the erstwhile assistant director of Annakili Selvaraj.
The Tamil remake of Jab We Met with Bharat in the lead will be shot for 18 days in a rented train.
