Director Ameer has come forward with an interesting announcement. The actor-director has said he is ready to work without remuneration if someone comes forward to produce films throwing light on the Sri Lankan and Kashmir issues.
'It has been my longtime urge to make movies on both these burning problems. I would like to show the real face of Kashmir and the Sri Lankan issue to the general public. If I am given a chance, I will direct films on these issues without getting a single rupee,' said the filmmaker who was behind bars recently for raising his voice over the ethnic strife in the island nation.
Ameer said, 'it is a fact that Tamils are suffering in Sri Lanka. It is everyone's duty to express their support when fellow human beings are put to such hardship. And it is doubly so for people like me.'
