Ameer is free from the legal tangles that haunted him after his alleged provocative speech during the Rameswaram protests in support of Srilankan Tamils. Which precisely means that Yogi, with him in the lead, will be dusted from the cans and the shoots will begin soon. Ameer says he is focused on finishing up the project that has been long pending
now. The movie, expected to be out for Pongal, will be postponed since Ameer was not available for the shoots.
Yogi will be as endearing as Paruthiveeran, Ameer was quoted as saying. While Paruthiveeran told the story of a rustic waywardly village, Yogi tells the story of a down to earth man in the slums of Chennai. Directed by Subramania Siva, Yogi has Snehan’s lyrics who also makes a cameo in the movie.
