Taxi No 9211 was the original title in Hindi where John Abraham and Nana Patekar donned lead role with Sameera Reddy and Sonali Kulkarni in lead roles. Lakshmi Kanth who made bilingual film ‘Netru Indru Naalai’ remakes the film handling screenplay, dialogues and direction. The Tamil version has Pasupathy on the role of Nana Patekar while Ajmal enacting the role of a multi billionaire while Meenakshi as Ajmal’s lady love and Simran as Pasupathy’s wife.
The film is about one fine day where a taxi cab driver and a multi-billionaire pulling each other down that will turn the entire course of their life. Vijay Antony has scored music for the film and audio for the film has been launched under the music label of ‘Vijay Antony Musical’.
The audio launch function was held yesterday here in Chennai where Music Harris Jayaraj and Actor Arya were present as chief guests. All of them who had gathered there congratulated Vijay Antony for launching his music label.
Actress Meenakshi had dressed up so glamorously to attract the crowd, but failed to be charismatic…
