Eezham - another fact finder serial from Makkal TV. The docu-serial is all set to capture the state-sponsored genocide and human rights violations that are being inflicted on the minority Tamils.
“We have always been focusing on a content that are socially sensitive and factconscious”, observes Carmel, VP-programmes, Makkal Tv. “And, it’s only natural for us to be reactive to this atrocity committed on our kith and kin down under, as a responsible Tamil medium”.
The docu-serial has been produced by Neelavaanam Media, and directed by Kavithabharathi, who earlier directed “Marakka Mudiyuma”, a serial based on the MGR M.R. Radha row. Seenu has handled the camera, while Maria Manohar has handled music and lyrics by Pachiyappan. “Eezham” is poised for a Dec 15 launch.
