Musician Harris participated in the annual Christmas celebrations conducted by the VGP Parijatham Trust at the "Infant Jesus" Church, Guindy. He interacted with the kids and handed over the Christmas presents and goodies to them. Harris also addressed the gathering and praised the Trust for their social welfare activities. He declared that he would like to participate in all the Trust's future events.
Shantanoo Bagyaraj was present in the event as a special invitee and distributed dresses for the needy children supported by the Trust.
Founded in 2007 in memory of Parijatham Panneerdas, the VGP Parijatham Trust aims at providing free food, cloth, shelter, health services, education to children, providing free spectacles and cataract operation for the uncared and unattended senior citizens; bringing computer education to the non-accessed, conducting classes on English fluency, tailoring classes for needy women.
