The well established comedian Karunas is all set to don a new role in the film industry. Yes, he has been signed up to score the music for the film Rajadhi Raja. Initially Dhina was signed up to take care of the music but he could not deliver the goods on time.

Lawrence who initiated talks with the producer-director Shakthi Chidambaram, to entrust Karunas with the job. Karunas, before venturing into the film industry, was conducting a music troupe and hence he had the requisite experience, it was felt by all those concerned.
Speaking about his new role, Karunas said that he will score music for films if good offers came by but would continue to concentrate on acting.
