Actor Srikanth is optimistic that 2009 would be his year in the industry. A host of his movies would hit the screens this year.
Says the actor, whose recent release 'Poo' has got critically acclaimed, 'I am not happy with my progress. There are many hurdles to an actor's career. Hopefully, I will emerge as a force to reckon with this year'.
Srikanth has completed shooting for 'Indira Vizha' and 'Ettapppan'. He is currently shooting for 'Maa', 'Nenjil Aindham Disai', 'Drogi' and a Telugu movie 'Brindavanam'. Srikanth's next film titled 'Manavar Dhinam' would have musical score by A R Rahman.
On Poo, he says, ' all credit should be lauded on director Sasi. He had the confidence that I can do the role of a rustic youth. Since I liked the story, I had no hesitation in accepting the offer and to be part of a quality cinema'.
