Lyricist Vairamuthu's book on the speeches made by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was released at a function held in Chennai yesterday. The book comprises about 11 Tamil grammatical speeches made by the CM.
The book was released by
Kundrakudi Ponnambala Adigal and was received by Kanimozhi, M.P., daughter of the CM. Speaking at the function, Kanimozhi was vociferous in her support to the Tamils in Sri Lanka and appealed to all Tamilians to stand by them in this moment of crisis. Vairamuthu, speaking on this issue, said that he was pained when news reached him that the Sri Lankan army has taken control of Kilinochi, a stronghold of the Tamils. Vairamuthu said, "Kilinochi may fall, Kili may fall but Tigers will never rest."
