There were times when Tami film lovers used to adore Malayalam flicks that were offbeat, yet entertaining. Perhaps, changing phase of Tamil Cinema has indeed got us films of that sort. It’s more illustrious with ‘Paruthiveeran’ and recently churned ‘Subramaniapuram’. The screenplay of this ‘Subramaniapuram’ was recently launched in Malayalam and released by Dr. Punathil Kun Abdullah. Also present for the event were Director Blaasy who received the first copy, Pralayan – short story writer or VR Sudeesh.Speaking on the occasion, Dr Punathil said, ‘I am elated that Tamil filmmakers are brimming with stupendous piece of works. Hope! Malayalam film adapts this style’. On the pars, Blaasy added that Director Sasi Kumar is the only filmmaker who has depicted violence with a decorous way.
