Sheela has acted in a glamorous role in the Telugu film Maska. Sheela said,” This is the first time I have acted glamorously. I have acted in family oriented roles wearing sarees and half sarees. People of Tamil Nadu always feel as if I am their own family member; hence I could not do glamour roles in Tamil films.
But I felt I should change this image slightly and start to do glamour roles. I got the chance to so the glamour role in the Telugu film Maska. So I made use of this opportunity. I will do glamour roles to the extant, the story demands. I will be doing such roles in Tamil films also if get the chance.”
