Three cheers to Snightha

Snightha's rise in Tamil cinema is unique for she started as an item-dancer but went on to establish herself as an actress who can perform challenging roles.
Her scintillating dance moves of 'Kathazha Kannale' in 'Anjathey' won her instant fame. Though she got several offers to shake her legs, a careful Snightha chose to do serious roles.
She has been roped in to a prominent character in Ragava Larencce's 'Rajadhi Raja' besides a challenging role in Mysskin's 'Nandhalala'.
'I was in the hunt for a heroine, who had to combine looks and performance. I auditioned many, but was not satisfied. Finally, I zeroed in on Snightha. She had fit the role like T. Snightha combines the looks of a South Indian and Maharastrian woman, which my story demanded', says director Mysskin.
On 'Nandhalala', Snightha said, ' all credit should go to Mysskin. He spotted the talent in me and helped me bring out my best. It is a different film and my character deserves intense preparation and performance. Mysskin brought out everything from me'.
