Comedian 'Ganja' Karuppu rose to stardom after playing a funny role in the Ameer film 'Ram'. He had earlier acted as a 'Ganja' smoker in the highly acclaimed film 'Pithamagan' that was directed by Bala. Hence the prefix to his name.According to reports the comedian who is highly sought after is planning to marry soon. His relatives have chosen a girl from Theni to be his blushing bride. The bride herself is a relative of 'Ganja' Karuppu.
The reports also add that the comedian has recently purchased a four-storey bungalow in Adambakkam where he plans to move in after marriage. The bungalow has been christened 'Bala – Ameer Illam' – this is 'Ganja' Karuppu's way of thanking the directors for giving him a new life. 'Ganja' Karuppu was an office boy in Bala's office and his unique way of speech and body language prompted Bala and Ammer to try him out before the camera. It worked big time and 'Ganja' Karuppu has about fifteen projects under his belt.
The 'Grahapravesam' of the house would be held before the marriage. Way to go 'Ganja' Karuppu.
