Medhai is the title of the film in which Ramarajan is acting after a long time. The crew could not get a heroine to pair with Ramarajan for a long time. Finally they had found a girl Kousika who is now pairing with Ramarajan. Three fourth of the shooting is over. Recently a song Nilavuku Pirandhaval Neeyo featuring Kousika and Ramarajan was shot at AVM Studios.
Ramarajan wore his favorite costume dhoti and shirt for this sequence. Ramarajan plays a head master in a village school. He comes across a group of baddies and ends their atrocities in the village. Vadivelu, Charlie, Pithamaghan Mahadevan form part of the cast. Dhina has composed the music. Debutant T G Saravanan is directing this film.
