popular yester year song Megame Megame and Aalana Aalu which featured in the film Palaivana Solai is being remixed for the remake version of Palaivana Solai. The shooting of this film has commenced and is progressing. Vairamuthu has penned five songs for this film. Palaivana Solai which was released in the year 1981 is being remade after 28 years. This film had Suhasini, Chandrasekar, Rajeev, Thyagu and Janakaraj in the cast. This film was directed by Robert- Rajashekar. Now in the remake version, Karthika of Dindigul Sarathi fame will do the role of Suhasini, Nithin Sathya will don the role of Chandrasekar. Abhinay will do the role which Rajeev did.
The others in the cast are Chams, Sanjeev and Sathyan. Vital Prasad is doing an important role. S Dayalan who was earlier an assistant to K S Ravi Kumar has written the story, screenplay and dialogues. He is also directing this remake version. R Radhakrishnan is producing the film under the banner Maruthi Films.
