"Not even one film of his has run well but Vignesh's antics are intolerable," grumble many on the sets of 'Eesa.'
However well oiled you are, only that much mud will stick to you, is a saying well suited to Vignesh. He is trying hard to become a successful hero but things have just not worked out for him. His latest effort is 'Eesa' in which he is paired with Lakshana.
From the day of the film's pooja, Vignesh has had an eye on Lakshana and tries to flirt with her at any given opportunity. But Lakshana has taken no notice of him. When the shooting shifted to an outdoor stint in Tuticorin, the hero thought the setting would be ideal for his antics.
One of the shots shows the hero biting the heroine's cheek and it seems Vignesh actually bit her on her cheek! This upset Lakshana and she refused to shoot any more with the hero and walked out. It took a great deal of cajoling to pacify her and resume shooting for the film.
Not content with this, the enamored Vignesh tried to burst into Lakshana's room at night and force himself on her. The frightened Lakshana screamed for help and Rajender who does the villain role, rushed to her rescue and saved her from Vignesh's clutches.
The next day, Lakahana checked out. Vignesh refused to pay his room rent. (He also did some production work on behalf of the producer). The hotel staff demanded the money that the room had been booked on behalf of the company.
Since Vignesh refused, the staff forced him into a room, kept him captive and called for the police. He was later freed after recommendations.
