Achchamundu! Achchamundu! Bags international honour

This is really good times for thrillers in Tamil movies. If 'Yaavarum Nalam' was widely appreciated and was bought to be made into a Hollywood flick, director Arun Vaidhyanathan’s Achchamundu! Achchamundu! Has been the recipient of the ‘Best Homegrown Feature Film’ award at the Garden State Film Festival in New Jersey. The award was presented on April 5 and the film’s director, Arun called his film the ‘perfect collaboration of storytelling of the east and the technical knowledge of the west.’
The film has been in the making for a long two years and has Prasanna and Sneha in the lead. John Shea, an Emmy award winner, also acts in an important role. The film has the honour of the being the first Tamil film to be shot in the Red One Camera. The film is all set to hit screens this summer.
