The Chief Minister of Tamilnadu & DMK president Dr.Karunanidhi has called upon a general strike on April 23 Thursday from 6am to 6pm. The purpose of strike is to support Central Govt to put red signal on war over Tamils in Srilanka. Theatre Owners Association President Abirami Ramanathan said that “The noon and matinee shows across Tamilnadu theatres are cancelled in support of Tamils at Srilanka”. More than this all shooting and other activities relating to films have been called off to show support for Tamils at Srilanka.
