‘Pasanga’ climbs to the 2nd spot!

James Vasanthan does it again! After his immensely successful music score in 'Subramaniapuram', James Vasanthan proves he is no one-movie-wonder with 'Pasanga'. The movie, directed by debutant Pandiraj, has some foot-tapping music by James and the score has made a steep rise to No 2 in Raaga, from No 9. Through this ranking, “Oru Vetkam Varudhey”, a duet from the film, has taken over Illayaraja’s 'Nandalala' and 'Naan Kadavul', besides 'Padikkadhavan', 'Villu' and 'Aegan'. The film’s audio is second only to Harris Jayaraj’s soothing number “Nenje Nenje” in 'Ayan' in the Top Ten ratings of http://bharatcinemaonline.blogspot.com/2009/03/pasanga.html. “Oru Vetkam Varudhey” has been crooned by Shreya Goshal and Naresh Iyer. A movie for children, Pasanga’s audio was launched late last month by Kamal Haasan and Dr Balamuralikrishna. The latter, in fact, has rendered his voice for a song in this film, “Anbaale Azhagahum Veedu”. The film is being produced by Company Productions and features eight children in the lead. The film is expected to hit screens on May 1. The film is highly anticipated in the film circles as it is a complete children’s film, which Kollywood has not seen in a long while.
