Actress KR Vijaya, one of Tamil cinema’s most popular yesteryear heroines, was last seen in 'Dashavathaaram', playing mom to one of Kamal’s avatars, Kalifullah Khan. A heroine known to play mythological roles with finesse, her acting has taken a beating as the actress had silently retreated from celluloid, playing roles on television.
The actress is reported back on the silver screen again. This will be for a Kannada film, 'Om Shakthi Mahime'. Apart from the actress, Mumbai-based actress Megha, Meena, Thara, Rekha Das and Ramakrishna are in the cast of the film, which is being shot in Melmaruvathur and Bangalore. The movie is being produced by R Venkatesh, who had earlier made movies like Sulthan, Badri and Bidda Kannada.
