Roma Asrani will return to Kollywood after her debut film Kathale En Kathale. Roma is all set to do her second tamil film named ” Vanchikottai Valiban ” will have Shakthi as the hero opposite to Roma.
Roma Asrani made her debut in the Telugu film Mr. Errababu in 2005. For her performance in Notebook she was adjudged best newcomer by Kerala film critics association, Asianet, Amrita TV & Kalakeralam. She has also acted in a Music Album by the band Team Malayalee with popular singer Vineeth Sreenivasan and actor Prithviraj for the number Minnel Azhake.
The film Vanchikottai Vallibhan is not a remake of the Gemini Ganeshan classic. The movie will be directed by S.K Jeeva and the music is by newcomer Sadaga Paravaigal Shankar. The new Vanchikottu Valiban is a romantic entertainer and is said to convey a good message.
For Roma Asrani, a Chennai girl who made it big in Malayalam, a film with Sakthi is a big break.
