Aadu Kalam is a film directed by Vetrimaaran. He is directing this film after Polladhavan. Kadhiresan is producing Aadu Kalam under the banner Group Company. Dhanush and Trisha are in the lead roles. The director says,” In cinema a person has been portrayed as black or white/ good or bad. But this film tries to prove that a person is not merely this. The story happens in Madurai. This film is about the hero Dhanush who is a vagabond, Trisha, a college student who is an Anglo Indian, Writer Jayabalan, Kishore and another character.
Many are asking why there is delay after Polladhavan. I was born and brought up in Chennai. I am not aware of the culture of Madurai. So I had to fist equip myself with Madurai’s dialect and culture before starting the story. The second schedule of shooting is going on in Madurai.
