K A Raja Mohamed is producing a film titled Uyir Nanaigiradhe under the banner Pattalathar Films. A R Vijaya Shankar is producing this film. Prabha is doing the led role. Thejashree is one of the heroines of this film. Another heroine is being finalized. New face Suryakanth K S is being introduced in an important role. Gowthami, Devaki, Kanga Karuppu, Livingston, Nizalgal Ravi, Kadhal Dhandapani and Ponnambalam are also starring in this film. The director while speaking of this film said,” Lovers enjoy every moment when they are in love but when their love fails they try to commit suicide. This is happening from the time immemorial. The story of this film is how to set right these kind of people.

Ezhil is handling the camera while Iswar Babu, Shivaji and Shiva are in charge of choreography. Super Subbarayan is handling the stunts.
