Director Priyadarshan, whose interest lies beneath the task of remaking best Tamil films into Hindi is back in business. Followed by the terrific flop of ‘Billu’, he had some solace through Tamil Nadu Government offering him some award of ‘Best Director’ for ‘Kanchivaram’. Now, the filmmaker had recently watched Mysskin’s ‘Nandhalala’ and got fascinated with his style of making.
Eventually, Priyadarshan has requested Mysskin to sell the remake rights of his film ‘Anjathey’ in Hindi. The original version directed by Mysskin had Narain, Ajmal, Prasanna and Vijayalakshmi in lead roles. The film witnessed grand success in Kollywood Box office. Now Mysskin is planning to remake the film by himself in Hindi.
Much like director Samuthirakkani refusing the offer of RGV for ‘Nadodigal’, Mysskin seems to have been rigid about his film.
