Rukmani says,” There is no pride in saying that I am actress.”

Rukmani is going to stage a dance drama in America. When she was at her rehearsal, she spoke to the media. She said,” The films Bomallattam and Anandha Thandavam in which I had acted were good films. There was good role for me in these films. After these I expected to get some good offers. But nothing turned up as expected. I got some offers but they were ordinary roles.
Anybody can do them. Since I am a dancer I am not idling in my house. I will be doing a dance drama concert in America for two weeks. I am preparing myself for that. Apart from this I am planning to cut a musical album which will have innovative dancing. I take pride in telling that I am a dancer than actress.”
