Actor Arun Vijay spoke to the media yesterday. He said, “Malai Malai in which I have don the lead role was released in 160 theatres.
This film has become commercial hit like Ayan and Nadodigal. I travelled throughout Tamil Nadu and met my fans in 70 theatres. I spoke to them personally. My fans requested me to make another film with the same cast and crew.
They have accepted me as an action hero. In my next film I am going to fight more gallantly in order to satisfy my fans. The film which I am going to act has been titled Maanja Velu. A Venkatesh is going to direct this film. Prabhu, Prakash Raj and Kanga Karuppu will also be acting with me in this film.
The shooting of this film will commence on 19th of this month. The shooting will commence in Palani. The stunt scenes in this film are very innovative and such stunt scenes would not have figured in any Tamil cinema so far. One such thing is ski-diving. There is also a scene where I have to jump from a plane at 10,000 feet. So far no actor in India has done this stunt scene. I am getting trained for this scene in London for 15 days.
