Director Balachandar is the one who gave the star status to Kamal Haasan.Kamal Haasan who calls him as his mentor has acted in his many films. Kamal says that he has now got the opportunity to direct K Balachandar. Kamal Haasan while speaking about this said,” I have planned to produce and direct a film. Balachandar will be acting with me in this film. This is the first time he is acting with me. He will be donning an important role.”
