‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’, the tamil feature which ran successfully in Tamilnadu recently got selected in 33rd Cairo International film festival, Egypt. The tamil feature directed by Arun Vaidyanathan where Prasanna, Sneha, John Shea play lead roles already made rounds in international film festivals like Garden state film festival, Shanghai International film festival and Digital cinema film festival, Japan. This film is shot entirely in USA and produced by Ananth govindan, Asma Hashmi, Ramzan Lakhani and Srinivasan. Arun Vaidyanathan recently received Media guild award for creating public awareness towards child sex abuse.Arun Vaidyanathan says, ” A recognition in an international film festival always makes the entire team happy. I was so excited when Achchamundu played in Shanghai with chinese subtitles and the entire chinese audience gave a fantastic response.
As a creator, it makes me happy that a tamil film transcends the language and cultural boundaries. At this time, I am thankful to the actors, technicians and especially producers for supporting a good film. Our entire team thank Mr. Suresh of Ananda pictures for releasing the film in entire tamil nadu successfully!”.
