50 % of the shooting of the film Kazhavani which has Pasanga Vimal and new face Oviya has been completed. Sargunam is directing this film.
Sargunam while speaking to the media said,” I was an associate to screenplay writer Kalaimani and director Vijay. This is my first film. Many films with the backdrop of Madurai and Kovai have come out. This story happens in the backdrop of Thanjavur.
The villages have been changed a lot these days. Educated people are living in foreign countries. Everybody has a cell phone. There seems to be nobody sitting under the tree to give the verdict. Lot of Matriculation schools have come up. All these will be the back drop of this film.
Heroine Oviya comes to hero Vimal’s town to study Plus 1. Vimal who is a vagrant wears white color clothes like a politician. Romance blossoms between Vimal and Oviya. This film speaks about the romance in an interesting humorous way.
There is also twist in the romance. S S Kumaran who has composed music for Poo is composing for this film. Om Prakash has handled the camera while Nasser is producing this film. I will be releasing this film by end of January.”
