It’s been a week after Pongal releases made it ways onto screens and the results have been completely mediocre. The trade analysts have entitled ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ as the winner at box office. Apparently, the revised second half has gradually increased more crowds towards the shows. ‘Kutty’ has been following the next position while ‘Porkalam’ and ‘Naanayam’ aren’t getting through favorable phase.With almost all the three releases not living up to the expectations, the distributors and exhibitors have gradually turned their focus on upcoming releases – ‘Goa’, ‘Paiyya’, ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ and ‘ASAL’.Already the producers have started promoting the films with newspaper advertisements gradually raising everyone’s anticipations. ‘Goa’ is slated to hit screens by end of this month along with Tamil spoof ‘Tamizh Padam’. Ajith Kumar’s ‘ASAL’ will have a grand release on February 5 and ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ is expected to be a fine treat for Valentine’s Day
