Sura: Vijay’s 50th film will be a big bash for the season of summer vacation as Sun Pictures plans up to release the film by second week of next month, preferably on April 14. The producers are already into the busy schedules of promoting the film. The film is directed by S.P. Rajkumar and was produced by Sangli Murugan under the banner of Murugan Cine Arts…
Singam: Much alike ‘Sura’, ‘Singam’ is regarded as a special project for Sun as it happens to Suriya’s 25th film. The film’s post production is close on the heels of completion and will be following Sura in theatres. ‘Singam’ is produced by K.E. Gnyanavel Rajan under the banner of Studio Green Productions and is directed by Hari.
Thillalangadi: Assuredness of success – has been the sure words of ‘Jeyam’ company team. They’ve been continuously striding on successful paths by remaking Telugu flicks and this one isn’t an elision. A remake of Telugu film ‘Kick’ has Jeyam Ravi, Thamannah and Shaam in lead roles and it was reported that AGS Entertainment had acquired the film right on the day of launch itself. Now, we hear that Sun Pictures has taken over the project.
Aadukalam: Dhanush-Vetrimaaran duo combo had come up with a commendable strike in ‘Polladhavan’ and now they’re teaming up for a new-patterned theme in the backdrops of Madurai. The film has a long way to go for completion and may hit screens somewhere in September or October.
Endhiran: The biggest extravaganza keeps the global audiences high on anticipations, but they’ve got to wait for a little while. Manifestly, the Sun Pictures is planning to release the film either on the occasion of Diwali or Christmas…Indeed, these films have maintained its good standards much prior to Sun Pictures taking over it.
