Vipul Shah has signed Asin and John Abraham for the Hindi remake of Kollywood super hit movie Kaakha Kaakha. The movie will be directed by Nishikant Kamat who made movies like Dombivilli fast and the Tamil version Evano Oruvan with Madhavan.
The film is expected to start shooting in May. This is the second project of Asin with Vipul Shah. She acted in Vipul’s London Dreams with Salman Khan and Ajay Devagan.
Vipul had considered Genelia D’Souza for the role in the Kaakha Kaakha remake but she has already pired up with John in Hook ya Crook, so he opted for Asin. The original version of the movie had kollywoods heartthrob/real life pair Surya and Jyothika in the lead role.
John has already started to work hard to beef up for his role as the Police Officer.
