Katharina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor have refused to act in the Tamil remake film Three Idiots. The super Hindi film Three Idiots had Amir Khan and Madhavan in the cast. Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the Tamil remake rights.
Katharina Kaif was approached to do the role which Kareena Kapoor did in the Hindi version. But she refused to act saying that she is unable to act in the Tamil film because she is busy for the whole year.
After this they approached Kareena Kapoor to do the role which she did in the Hindi film but she also refused by saying that she has no call sheet because she was acting in Sharukh Khan film and also with Saif Ali Khan in another film.”
