With accordance to the grand success of ‘Arundhathi’ in dubbed version, the Tamil Nadu audiences have gradually mounted more interests on Telugu films. Now, they are manifestly opting for direct Telugu movies, which is quite evident with the grand opening of various films in the State.Much alike the supernatural thriller ‘Arundhathi’, ‘Magadheera’ turned to be the biggest grosser in South Indian box office. But the producers of this film had no plans about releasing the film herein Chennai since they had plans to dub in Tamil. Recently, we heard it from the closer sources that Kalaipuli S Dhanu has acquired the rights over dubbed version.Apparently, the home video seems to have leaped with big sales as nearly 1000 copies were sold out at various outlets within a week after its launch. Well, it looks like most of the DVDs of various regional films are being launched much prior to theatrical releases. Previously, it was illustrious with Malayalam movie ‘Puthiya Mukham’ and Hollywood’s ‘Taking of Pelham 123’.
