Actress Kushboo who has joined politics by throwing her weight for the ruling DMK party she has had the first repercussion. In a state where every public act is seen taking sides her decision to join DMK has made the opposition party AIADMK to hit her back.
Kushboo was anchoring the popular game show 'Jackpot' on Jaya TV which is backed by AIADMK. So her political decision has irked the channel and it withdrew the program Jackpot abruptly off air from this week.
Immediately after joining DMK in front of party president Karunanidhi, actress Kushboo has said her professional priorities cannot be linked to her political priorities there by hinting her willingness to continue the program on Jaya TV.
But Jaya TV’s bosses had thought otherwise and have shown her the door.
