Director Shankar’s assistant Senthamizh is directing a film titled Jayamundu Bayam Illai. P C Balu has written the story and producing this film. Aditya who had acted Thambivudayan is doing the lead role. Devika who had acted in Vaalmiki is doing the female lead role.
The shooting of the film has been completed. Director Senthamizh while speaking about this film said,” Not only love, I have also spoken about the important society problem in this film. No one would have forgotten that Tsunami that destroyed the villages near the sea shore a few years ago. The back drop of this film is one such Tsunami affected fishermen village. The affected people agitate when they don’t get the relief.
Their struggle, protests and the incidents connected with this problem will be an important thing in this film. There is no villain in this film. The situation in this film is the villain. Bhanuchandar who has donned the role of a collector and Radha Ravi who has donned the role of a doctor have excelled in their roles. T P Gajendran has donned dual roles of brothers for the first time. There is also strong message that romance will never fail. This film will definitely attract these days youth.”
