Oviya has touched the hearts of many after acting in the film Kazhavani. She who hails from Trichur of Kerala State looks like a beautiful painting. She while speaking to the media said,” Before coming to cinema I was modeling.
Director Sargunam after seeing this gave me the opportunity to act in Kazhavani. Director Sargunam has seen my photo and he felt that I was suitable for the story and the role. He selected me.
I had donned the role of a school student in this film. All the people who saw me said that I was really looking like a beautiful school student. Director Sargunam sir has made my character very beautiful. Vimal, producer, cameraman and all the people who had acted with me in this film were super.
This was a super team. I faced little difficulties in the initial stages of acting since I was not fluent with Tamil. But all the unit members encouraged me and made me act in the best way. Though the shooting took place for 65 days, I felt like that I have acted for only 10 day.
It was so jolly when I acted in this film. The next film I am acting is titled Muthukku Muthaga. Rasu Madhuravan is directing this film.Talks are going with regard to another Tamil film. I am also getting lot of offers in Malayalam also.”
