The actor had kept himself away from K-town for a very long time and started off his career working as assistant director to Manirathnam. His gateway to stardom was quite bigger than he expected as ‘Paruthiveeran’ was a blockbuster reaching him towards the nook and corners of the globe. He strode with a bold attempt of choosing to act in an experimental project like ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ that broke the barriers of how clichéd protagonists.

A wildest drive with ‘Paiyaa’ threw a sudden surprise for everyone as he appeared in chocolate-boy role. Of course, he stunned with his action packed sequences and chose to move again to a dark subject of crime-thriller like ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’.
