Ajith & Vijay in Sholay Remake

Combination of top most blockbuster heroes will be a great feast for the respective fans. Even the common audience will be taken aback for this move. It has been in the practice for so many decades that top heroes coming together in the same movie.
During the days of MGR and Sivaji, it was claimed that they paired for a film Koondukkili, the only film. The subsequent heroes too followed this as we had the combinations of Sivaji – SSR, Sivaji – Muthuraman; Kamal – Rajini in Ilamai Oonjal Aadukirathu, Ninaithale Inikkum, 16 Vayathinile; combination of Prabu-Karthik as in Agni Natchathiram, Rajini – Prabu in Guru Sishyan.
These are samples of dual hero projects which proved a rare and rewarding attempts. Now there are longing talks for brining together Thala Ajith and Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Sources which draw attention to the producers suggest that they can take up the record breaking Hindi film Sholay. This film created history in the then Bombay screens by running for years together.
Dharmendra and Amitabh executed such an awesome roles in the movie. Quoting this success formula, some circles in Kollywood have suggested to some of the mega producers to think of remaking Sholay. In that event Ajith and Vijay could be ideal pairs, claim the sources, which will be the hottest thunder in Kollywood.
