Hyderabad Police have registered a FIR against actor Vidya Balan, following a complaint by an advocate, who alleged that she had posed for indecent photographs on the posters and promos of the film The Dirty Picture. The complainant, Sai Krishna Azad, a practicing advocate, had last month approached the Nampally court here and filed a petition, in which, he had alleged that the posters and promos of the film were "obscene" and were "causing inconvenience to women" in the Nallakunta area and other parts of Hyderabad. Following a court directive, a case was booked against Vidya Balan under Section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and relevant sections under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986, Nallakunta Inspector of Police M Suman Kumar said.
